The Greater Los Angeles Caregivers Alliance (GLACA) is urging all patients to let their voice be heard against the recent motion to ban all Los Angeles Collectives to ensure future safe access to their natural medicine.
Council members Bernard Parks and Jan Perry introduced a motion to ban all cannabis collectives in the City of Los Angeles on October 12th. It is currently in the Safety Committee. On the eve of Thanksgiving, Councilman Jose Huizar introduced a second motion to ban, seeking to accelerate the process.
Americans for Safe Access (ASA) has put up a link where you can e-mail all 14 LA Council Members at once, asking each to oppose a ban. E-mailing is something you can do with a few keystrokes. It doesn’t cost anything but a few moments of your time.
If every resident of the City of Los Angeles who opposed a ban sent an email over the holiday weekend, we estimate that between 200,000 and 250,000 people would have let the Los Angeles City Council know that they oppose a ban on medical cannabis.
Can you help by taking a few moments to send an email at the link below? We need to show City Hall that significant numbers of voters do not want a ban!
If this ban happens then sick patients that volunteer at Los Angeles collectives are at risk of being out of a job and probably won’t be able to find another place to work in their condition.
Plus it will eliminate all safe access to medical marijuana for patients in the city of Los Angeles. WE CAN’T LET THIS HAPPEN!!!
ASA has done all the work for us and created a letter template that you can edit to make it your own or simply sign it and click send to automatically email your protest to ALL Los Angeles City Council Members with just one click!

Power in numbers, let’s show them that we won’t let them take away our medicine without a fight, prohibition has never worked in the history of time!
